Dominik Mysterio highlights how his bond with Finn Balor dates back before their days in the Judgment Day.
In an interview WWE recorded ahead of WWE Bad Blood, Dominik Mysterio was asked whether turning on Rhea Ripley had been difficult for him.
“Not at all. But if you actually think about it, before Rhea, like you said, helped me break out of my shell or whatever, I was actually with Finn Balor,” Dominik Mysterio said. “Before he got brought into the Judgment Day, I was with him, tagging with Finn and my deadbeat dad around the world, so Finn had taken me under his wing before any of this had even happened, before I even met or knew who Rhea Ripley was. So I think for me, it never really had anything to do with Rhea.”
When asked whether that meant that he felt closer to Finn than Rhea, Mysterio did not deny it.
“I mean, if that’s how you want to put it,” he said.
