Donald Trump maintained his innocence after being found guilty of 34 charges in his hush money trial. On Thursday (May 30), a jury unanimously found the 77-year-old former president to be guilty of falsifying business records after making a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. Outside of the New York courtroom, Donald issued his first statement to the press, calling the ruling “a disgrace” and “rigged.” Keep reading to find out more… “This was a disgrace. He also confirmed plans to appeal the ruling, saying, “This is long from over.” Donald will be sentenced on July 11 and could receive up to four years in prison from the judge. However, he said that the election will be the final ruling. “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people, and they know what happened here and everybody knows what happened here,” he said.
