At the end of his contract next June, Marco Reus should not extend the adventure with Borussia Dortmund. At the club for twelve seasons now, the German international is no longer considered a potential starter (14 games for 4 goals in the Bundesliga). If his physique has regularly failed him in recent years, the 34-year-old has, however, no intention of hanging up his boots and could he offer himself a new challenge, abroad?

According to information from BILD this Wednesday, the legend of the Marsupials would have already anticipated a departure but would consider staying across the Rhine to evolve in a familiar environment. In this sense, the German media specifies that Marco Reus would opt for a return to Borussia Mönchengladbach, the club where he played between 2009 and 2012. He would also be willing to give up part of his salary to join the Poulains.
