On to new things. There have been all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster over the years but they all have something in common: at some point they are going to have to leave. While some wrap up their careers in WWE, there are some who will continue to wrestle elsewhere to varying degrees of success. Now we are seeing two former WWE Superstars having quite the success on the international stage.

On Friday, New Japan Pro Wrestling held its New Beginnings In Sapporo event, which featured multiple title changes. Two of these changes saw former WWE wrestlers crowned as new champions. First, Matt Riddle defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the NJPW World TV Champion. Later, Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, defeated David Finlay to become the IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion. Nemeth is also regularly appearing for TNA Wrestling.
