Double Work: NXT Star Reveals He Is Also Working Behind The Scenes

It’s something he can do. There are certain things that have to be done to make a wrestling show work, some of which require special attention. These responsibilities are often taken care of by former, or occasionally current, wrestlers, as they have the experience to help steer things in the right direction. Now a current WWE Superstar has revealed he has some of those responsibilities.

During a recent interview with Insight With Chris Van Vliet, NXT’s Shawn Spears reveals that he has a variety of behind the scenes responsibities in NXT. Spears did not specify what those responsibilites were, but he did suggest that he was working with younger stars. Spears returned to WWE in February of this year, following a years long stint in AEW. He had previously been part of the SmackDown roster during his first run with WWE.

Opinion: Spears is a good choice for this kind of a role, as he has been around the wrestling world and has quite a bit of experience. That is something that can help the younger generation get ready to move up to the main roster, which is a difficult task. What matters is that Spears has been there before and is able to help pass on that knowledge, which is a rather tricky thing to do.
