The 59-year-old second gentleman of the United States and husband of 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris has been the subject of a serious allegation of assault on an ex-girlfriend from over ten years ago. Keep reading to find out more… In a new report, three friends of his ex said he slapped her in the face while waiting at the valet during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France. The ex-girlfriend is reportedly an attorney in New York, and she called a friend from a cab after the incident happened, sobbing and describing the alleged assault. Doug and the ex had only been dating for three months at the time. Following the claims, a spokesperson for the second gentleman said “this report is untrue” and “any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.” Last weekend, during the season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live, Andy Samberg made a surprise appearance portraying Doug in the cold open sketch.
