Down And Out: NXT Star Announces Serious Injury, Out Of Action Indefinitely

That’s a major one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can be incredibly serious. You never know when you are going to see someone put on the shelf and have their career put on hold. That can take quite a bit of time and unfortunately we are seeing it happen again, as a rather prominent NXT star has a fairly serious injury laving him out of action.

This week on NXT, Noam Dar called the rest of Meta Four and revealed that he had suffered a torn tendon during an attack at the hands of Ethan Page. As a result, Dar will be out of action for the foreseeable future. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring. Dar has not wrestled since May 11 and it is not clear what kind of a tendon was torn or when he suffered the injury.

Opinion: That is terrible to hear as Dar felt like he was getting pretty close to the main event scene. After his long run as Heritage Cup Champion, there was only so much that Dar was going to be able to do outside of the NXT Title picture. Hopefully he is bale to get back in the ring sooner than later, but a torn tendon could take quite a long time to heal up, even after he has a head start.
