Unfortunately a lot of those take a good deal of recovery time, especially if there is something that slows you down from being able to get better. That seems to be the case again, as an AEW star is going to be out of action even longer than expected.

Back in December, AEW’s Kenny Omega announced that he was suffering from diverticulitis and would be out of action for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Omega is advertised for the March 20 Dynamite in Toronto but there is no reason to believe that he will be appearing at the show. Omega has not been able to undergo surgery to deal with the issue due to inflammation and a decision on the surgery will be made in seven weeks. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring following his surgery.
