Drake was met with mixed reactions from fans after he shared a mirror selfie debuting his latest hairstyle which featured pigtails and barrettes.
The “God’s Plan” hitmaker shared the selfie on his Instagram Story Tuesday night and let the photo do all the talking as he didn’t bother to caption the snapshot.
In the post, Drake styled his hair in sleek pigtails, parted down the middle, and accessorized the look with baby blue bubble barrettes.

Meanwhile, another fan slammed Drake for rocking the hairstyle as he approaches his 38th birthday next week.

Yet another took to social media to admit that she would never date a man who wore pigtails.

Despite the backlash, several fans came to the “One Dance” hitmaker’s defense, with one even comparing him to fellow rapper Snoop Dogg.
“Snoop dog wore his hair like this and all crazy hairstyles all [sic] time in his young years and everybody loved it from what I saw as a kid lol so what’s the problem with drake rockin his hair🤷🏽♀️,” the fan wrote.
“yall just hate my drake that’s all😒 leave him alone!”
Another supporter chimed in, “Drake got more hair then a lot of you bitches 😂🤪.”

Drake styled his hair with the colorful accessories while promoting his album “For All The Dogs.”
He also previously opened up about his hairline in 2021 when he claimed that having COVID-19 wreaked havoc on his hair.
“I had Covid that s–t grew in weird,” Drake wrote on a fan Instagram account at the time. “I had to start again.”
