Mrs. Favour Igiebor who was seen in a viral video tearing her husband’s passport as released a new video where she stated her stand and dared her husband to speak up too.

The video were she damaged her husband’s passport had sparked widespread discussion online as many people continued to ask questions which prompted her to release the new video.

Responding to the backlash, Mrs. Igiebor explained that her actions were the result of enduring numerous challenges in her marriage for many years. She emphasized that her sacrifices should not be dismissed so easily and urged viewers not to judge her based on the short video clip alone.

Mrs. Igiebor stated that the issues in her marriage had been ongoing for a long time, and she felt compelled to take a stand. She explained that she waited until they returned to Nigeria to act, rather than doing so in Europe, out of consideration for her husband. She highlighted that her actions were a response to long-standing family issues and her frustrations.

In response to the incident, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) announced that they had launched an investigation. The NIS noted that the destruction of a Nigerian passport could be a violation of Section 10(b) of the Immigration Act 2015 (as amended), which carries specific penalties for willful destruction of travel documents.
