Drew McIntyre has been gaining attention with his recent villainous behavior, which started at WWE Crown Jewel. However, he escalated his actions to a new level last week when he targeted CM Punk, who is known as the Best in the World. McIntyre continued this deception on Monday Night RAW this week.

Punk came out on RAW last week to acknowledge that he would indeed miss WrestleMania 40 due to suffering a torn triceps at the 2024 Royal Rumble event. McIntyre would come out and berate him, not before attacking his injured arm and sending him off to the sidelines.

This week on the red brand, McIntyre interrupted a highly intense segment between World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. As he entered the ring, he spoke about the shared hatred that he and Rollins had for the Voice of the Voiceless.

Right after, McIntyre unzipped his jacket to reveal new t-shirt with a design of a grave site with CM Punk’s WrestleMania main event buried and Drew laughing at it, continuing his week-long shenanigans of mocking the former WWE champion.

With the Scottish Warrior’s momentum on a different level, it would be interesting to see where would WWE’s position himself on the road to WrestleMania 40.

Do you think Drew McIntyre would be in the main event scenario at WrestleMania? Sound off in the comments!
