Drew McIntyre is one of the best heels in WWE right now and secured a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match on SmackDown this week. Now, he delivered a strong message after the show concluded.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a few Elimination Chamber qualifying matches for the men and women. This included Drew McIntyre squaring off against AJ Styles in a qualifying bout.

When all was said and done, The Scottish Warrior picked up the win and became the first entrant in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Following his win, Drew McIntyre was interviewed backstage about his win.

Drew McIntyre expressed his determination to seize his moment and earn the title. Reflecting on past challenges, he mentioned injuries, sacrifices for others, and conflicts with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Despite facing difficulties, he emphasized his commitment to giving fans what they want and vowed to take the hard path to WrestleMania’s main event, willing to conquer the Elimination Chamber once again to truly earn his moment.

”This is my way to finally get my moment, to finally get the title for me because my first two reigns for everyone else when I was holding down the fort the whole world shut down. The Cody Rhodes situation I talked about, I injured Punk in the Rumble, and sacrificed myself so Cody could finish his story. He messed around a bit so I had to mess him up a bit, Seth tried to be selfish and force Cody to go with him.”

”That’s not what fans wanted, I always want to give what the fans want. If I have to take the hard way to the main event of WrestleMania, that’s what I’m gonna do. If I have to beat everyone in Elimination Chamber again, which I’ve done before, I’m gonna do it, I’m finally gonna earn that moment because I don’t deserve it, I earned it.”

Randy Orton has also qualified for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. We will have to wait and see who the other competitors will turn out to be and if Drew McIntyre will win the bout and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 40.
