Drew McIntyre calls it like he sees it.

CM Punk claimed that he “ain’t ever have to put another man’s name on a T-shirt to sell it.” Punk made that statement on the March 25 episode of WWE RAW, and it was a reference to McIntyre’s t-shirt which took credit for injuring Punk and keeping him off of WrestleMania.

Now, CM Punk has a new shirt on WWEShop.com that says “Clobber McIntyre Punk” on the back. Not one to miss an opportunity to fire back, McIntyre pointed out the hypocrisy of the original statement, posting the following on Twitter:

The Colt Cabana quote refers to Punk name-dropping his former friend during his infamous “Pipebomb” promo during his first WWE run. Since then, Punk and Cabana’s relationship has fractured, and they are not friends anymore. Their issues were brought up by Punk during his now-infamous post-show press conference appearance at AEW All Out 2022.

McIntyre and Punk are scheduled to face each other at SummerSlam, with Seth Rollins serving as the special guest referee. The July 29 episode of RAW will also feature a “Referee Instructions” segment between the three of them.
