Drew McIntyre remains a top star in WWE and is willing to do whatever the company asks him. While a RAW Superstar, he is known to venture to the blue brand at times and this time was no different as he competed in a match after SmackDown went off the air this week.

This week’s SmackDown’s main event featured a singles match between LA Knight and Solo Sikoa, concluding in a double disqualification when AJ Styles interfered with a sudden Phenomenal Forearm on Knight.

The situation escalated into a brawl, involving Jimmy Uso and Randy Orton. Orton cleared the path by executing an RKO on Styles and dealing with both Bloodline members. LA Knight capitalized by delivering a BFT, standing tall in the ring as the Megastar to conclude the broadcast.

After this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown went off the air, Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring and squared off against The Miz. Unsurprisingly McIntyre picked up the win in decisive fashion.

Drew McIntyre’s contractual status with WWE remains a topic of discussion even now. We will have to wait and see how he will perform in the Royal Rumble match on January 27th this week.
