Drew McIntyre shocked fans last night when he appeared at WWE SmackDown and hugged Cody Rhodes, a move he recently joked about on social media.
Taking to X on Saturday, McIntyre shared a photo of himself hugging Rhodes in the ring. The reason why he did so, according to Drew, is simply because he wanted to get a closer look at Rhodes’ neck tattoo. McIntyre then said that the tattoo was “even funnier” when close.
McIntyre appeared at SmackDown as part of WWE’s transfer window, and hugged Rhodes before telling him that he could help Cody from the many people looking to take him down. Rhodes denied the help, though, so McIntyre instead watched as Kevin Owens ambushed Rhodes.
