Drew Starkey is opening up about his online presence. The 31-year-old Queer actor spoke out in an interview with Dazed about his identity, as well as her interactions online. In the profile, he spoke about being fairly private and using social media mostly to promote his movies. Keep reading to find out more… “You can say anything you want online under the guise of any identity,” he explained, shaking his head. “Even the positive stuff, I don’t know what’s true or not. Because it’s like, would these people say these things to my face? I feel like if I’m on the internet all day it can become delusional, and I don’t want to lose my mind.” He also spoke to the themes of Queer, including the problem of connection, which resonated with him when he read the script. “That fear of someone truly getting to know who you are is one that I struggled with for, I mean, the majority of my life,” he says. “That can stop people in their tracks.”
