Dutch international Quincy Promes received a heavy sentence for his involvement in drug trafficking.

Quincy Promes, Spartak Moscow striker, is going through a difficult period again.

After being sentenced to 18 months in prison in 2023 for stabbing a cousin, the Dutch attacker was sentenced this Wednesday to six years in prison by the Amsterdam court for drug trafficking.

The 32-year-old admitted his guilt for his involvement in the importation of 1.3 tonnes of cocaine, seized in 2020 at the port of Antwerp.

This conviction represents another hard blow for the former member of Ajax Amsterdam and Sevilla FC.
