The Department of State Services has arrested three individuals for allegedly assaulting its operatives during the crisis at the Lagos State House of Assembly on February 18.
The arrests followed a request by the Lagos Assembly for heightened security at the complex, as outlined in a letter dated February 14, 2025, and signed by the acting Clerk, A.T.B. Ottun.
According to the letter, referenced LSHA/FAD/0/7554/323, the DSS was directed to enforce strict access control at the Assembly complex from February 15 until further notice.
