Adelakun pledged that the state DSS would assist the area customs command in its operations, including joint surveillance efforts, training initiatives, and resource-sharing, aimed at fostering a secure environment conducive to economic growth.

The state director of DSS made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Customs Area Controller of the Oyo/Osun Area Command, Dr Ben Oramalugo, on Thursday, October 17, at the command’s headquarters in Ibadan, the state capital.

According to Dr Oramalugo, DSS is invaluable in the command’s efforts aimed at suppressing smuggling, expressing optimism that the visit would further strengthen the already existing partnership and collaboration between both agencies of the federal government to achieve mutual objectives.
