Dua Lipa surprised the audience at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards held at Ford Center at The Star on Thursday (May 16) in Frisco, Texas. The 28-year-old “Training Season” singer joined Chris Stapleton on stage for a surprise duet of a new song! According to Billboard, sources in attendance at the show say they plan to “release the collaboration very soon.” “Perhaps we needed time to listen to our hearts,” Dua sang on the stage. “And there you are. We’ve come so far together. You are the power over me. You are the light I wanna see.” The duo’s new collab will reportedly drop THIS Friday (May 17)! That night, Chris was nominated for several awards – Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. At the time of this post, Chris did pick up Album of the Year for his LP Higher, as well as Male Artist of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Congratulations!!
