Gordon Ramsay isn’t levitating over Dua Lipa’s viral Diet Coke recipe.
The famed British chef had a dramatic reaction after testing out the pop star’s unusual concoction, which features the popular soda mixed with pickles and jalapeños.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” host, 57, began with an optimistic attitude as he hyped himself up while recreating the beverage in a TikTok video on Wednesday.
“Had to try what @Dua Lipa was cooking up,” he wrote in the caption.
Gordon Ramsay tested Dua Lipa’s now-viral Diet Coke recipe on TikTok Wednesday. However, the famed chef was not a fan of the jalapeño- and pickle-infused drink, which he promptly spit out.He poured the canned soda into a red solo cup before adding “a little jalapeño juice” and “a little pickle juice” along with the several pickles and jalapeños. He then topped off the drink with more Diet Coke and more juice.
“OK, here goes, seriously,” Ramsay said in the clip before taking a big sip, which he promptly spit out.
“Dua Lipa, for God’s sake, girl!” he exclaimed while doubled over, choking and coughing. “You’ll ruin your vocal cords! S–t!”

Some of Ramsay’s followers, however, were adamant that the chef took a wrong step in his recreation of the Grammy winner’s drink.
“Sir you added way too much juice and didn’t stir,” one commenter wrote.
“I don’t even want to try hers, but she definitely didn’t do it this way,” another added.
Lipa first shared the bizarre beverage on her own TikTok over the weekend. “Everyone is staring at me,” she said in the video while adding pickles and jalapeños to her soda. She offered the drink to her friends, with one saying the taste was “randomly not bad.”In her original video posted over the weekend, Lipa didn’t give exact measurements as she mixed up the interesting drink while seated at a restaurant presumably in Austin, Texas.
The “Houdini” singer, 29, took the stage at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Saturday.
“Everyone is starting at me,” she said in the clip, acknowledging the bizarre combination of ingredients. “The lady in the back is like, ‘What the hell is she doing?'”
The pop star proceeded to share the drink with her friends at the table, with one of her pals describing the beverage as “randomly not bad.”
