Dugarry attacks Mbappé: “Not in my top 10”

Former French international Christophe Dugarry has once again significantly belittled Kylian Mbappé in one of his analyses.

Christophe Dugarry is not a big fan of Kylian Mbappé. And this is increasingly evident in his analyses. On Monday evening, during an appearance on Rothen s’enflamme on RMC Sport, the 98 world champion highlighted the little consideration he had for the French star as a player.

“At Real Madrid, we see Mbappé’s technical limitations. We’ve often talked about it. He’s not the best technician, the best players in the Top 10. Technically, he’s not gifted. This difference is obvious today with a player like Vinicius Jr next to him,” he said about the Bondynois.

Dugarry harsh with Mbappé

Dugarry’s opinion inevitably clashes with that of French coach Didier Deschamps. The latter never ceases to put his captain on a pedestal and to underline his qualities. He did so again this Monday in a press conference, notably criticizing Ancelotti for playing him like a center forward.

Regarding Mbappé’s debut with the Merengue, Dugarry did not elaborate too much. He simply noted that everyone is taking great care of the former Parisian at the Bernabeu. “Everyone wants him to succeed at Real. His teammates let him take penalties. There is never a bad reaction when he doesn’t make the right choice. They are all happy that he is here.”
