Former French international, Christophe Dugarry, was very vehement against Neymar.

Neymar has been sidelined from the football field for several weeks due to injury. Despite this, he manages to get noticed. And not in the positive sense of the word unfortunately. The ex-Parisian makes the headlines in the celebrity media, with his recurring nights out and also his lack of seriousness in maintaining his form.

Neymar is “ridiculous and pathetic”

The image of him arriving at Romario’s birthday with a few extra pounds has already gone around the world. And rather than keeping a low profile, “Ney” saw fit to respond to his detractors and make vulgar remarks on social networks.

A deplorable attitude which notably earned him criticism this Wednesday from Christophe Dugarry. “Neymar is hurting himself. History is showing that this is a huge waste. He’s a footballer from the old days. He forgot to professionalize himself, the image he projects is detestable. It’s on the networks, and what’s more, he displays it. And he doesn’t have to insult people. It hurts me more than anything else. I find it ridiculous and pathetic. He became a shadow of himself, he became everything except a footballer. While he should have largely been the Ballon d’Or”

For the moment, Ney remains unavailable due to a rupture of the cruciate ligament in his left knee that occurred with Brazil against Uruguay on October 17. The return of Mogi das Cruzes’ child is not expected until next season. In five appearances with the Saudi club this season, he has scored one goal and distilled three caviars.
