Manchester United take on Newcastle in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Reds are currently eighth in the Premier League, a place behind the Magpies, with European football looking unlikely for next season.

With two games left to play before the league season concludes, United also have an FA Cup final against Man City later this month.

Manchester United have shared an early team news update ahead of the game.

The club states there are doubts around several players ahead of the game, and Ten Hag has admitted that he is having to manage minutes with all eyes on the derby at Wembley. If United win the FA Cup, we will automatically qualify for the Europa League – so, it should go without saying that it’s the manager’s priority for the remainder of the season.

Amad sustained a knock in the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal, despite impressing in his first league start of the campaign. The Ivorian will be hoping to return as soon as possible to get more minutes under his belt.

Erik ten Hag will speak to the press at his press conference on Tuesday afternoon. He will be expected to provide further updates on Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

The game against Arsenal came too soon for Lisandro Martinez. It remains to be seen if he will play before the FA Cup final.

Moreover, Mason Mount suffered a fresh injury in training last week.

Willy Kambwala returned to action against Arsenal and could feature at centre-back from the start on Wednesday night. He got 15 minutes under his belt against the Gunners.
