A new racist controversy emerges in Italy, after the Inter Milan-Naples match, which was played this Sunday.
The Serie A match between Naples and Inter Milan (1-1) last Sunday was marked by a controversial incident involving Juan Jesus and Francesco Acerbi. The Napoli central defender not only scored his team's only goal, but also accused his opponent of racism.
In the 59th minute of the match, Jesus interrupted play to inform the referee, Frederico La Penna, that Acerbi had called him a “nigger.” The Brazilian showed the message “No to racism” on his jersey to support his accusation.
