In case you didn’t know, EC3 previously alleged that Velveteen Dream attempted to film people in the bathroom during party. He further claimed that WWE was fully aware of Velveteen Dream’s actions. Dream recently addressed this accusation and now EC3 called out Dream for lying about the incident.
To begin the year 2024, Velveteen Dream delivered comprehensive video apology, marking the start of his efforts to make amends. Velveteen Dream would then address the bathroom filming allegations levied by EC3 in a recent interview as well. Dream ultimately claimed that he may have left his phone in the bathroom but it was not filming anything.
While speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws with Dr. Chris Featherstone and Vince Russo, EC3 made it clear that his accusations against Velveteen Dream were based on actual facts.
“I’m not making the claims. There was literally a camera in my bathroom that belonged to him, on his cell phone, that was filming the toilet, okay? It’s not a claim. Do I make crazy, weird accusations about people in the business? Have I ever driven that sort of kind of news cycle? No, I said one thing that literally happened and here we are, but okay.”
Reacting to Velveteen Dream’s admission that his phone was in the bathroom, EC3 questioned the former WWE Superstar’s narrative by pointing out missing details and accusing Dream of lying.
“Why was the phone in the bathroom? Why was it lying flat? Because it wasn’t. Is that plausible deniability? Is that what we call that, Dr. Chris? That like if I kinda admit to half a truth, I can get away with a half a lie?”
EC3 reiterated his 2022 claim about Velveteen Dream’s phone, alleging that it was strategically positioned to record others taking a leak. EC3 described what he saw at Al Snow’s guest house and how horrified he was.
“The phone was propped up, like it is on this desk at Al Snow’s guest house, filming the toilet, selfie mode style, like bafflingly crazy. I’m so aghast and shocked that I couldn’t believe I was watching my own phallus tinkle on someone else’s phone to see the record button going. It didn’t make sense to me at the time. Was it the narcotics? Or was it the alcohol? No, it was the flat-out truth because nothing sobers you up quicker than seeing a camera watching you pee.”
Velveteen Dream also revealed why he didn’t address his allegations in his apology video. He also denied having conversations with minors. Nonetheless, only time will tell what will become of Dream in the end as he hasn’t ruled out returning to professional wrestling in the future.
