Ed Sheeran sings in Punjabi for the first time with Diljit Dosanjh, calls it an ‘incredible time’

Ed Sheeran is in India and is having a blast. The ‘Shape of You’ singer performed at Mahalaxmi racecourse on March 16 as a part of his Mathematics tour. Ever since his arrival, the English singer has been spotted with several B-town celebs and stealing the attention. Now, several videos from his concert are going viral where Ed Sheeran sang in Punjabi for the first time alongside Diljit Dosanjh setting the stage ablaze with their electrifying performance.

During his performance, he also shared the stage with a couple of Indian artists. A video of him sharing the stage with Diljit Dosanjh recently went viral. In the video, Diljit was seen performing the track ‘Lover’ while Sheeran played the chords with his guitar. Diljit, on his Instagram, shared a brief clip as he sang with Ed. For the show, Diljit wore a black and golden outfit with a red turban. Ed was seen in a black T-shirt and denims. Sharing the video, Diljit wrote, “@teddysphotos 🇮🇳🇬🇧 Brother Singing in PANJABI for the First Time BURRAAAA, Chak deya Ge”.

Describing his experience, Sheeran too shared a clip and wrote, “Got to bring out @diljitdosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!” At the concert, Sheeran performed some of his hit tracks like ‘Shape Of You,’ ‘Perfect’ and more.

On the work front, Diljit is gearing up for two films. He will be seen in Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Apart from this, he has Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra in his kitty which will release on Netflix.
