Eddie Kingston opens up about social media.
AEW Continental Champion Eddie Kingston recently spoke on the Eat Sleep Podcast Repeat and touched on why he doesn’t use the app formerly known as Twitter, noting that he finds it unhealthy after he once saw someone create a new profile just to write something “nasty” about fellow AEW star Riho.
While on that topic, Kingston was asked how he feels about bosses on social media in light of Tony Khan’s recent posts comparing the booking of AEW’s HOOK and WWE’s Jinder Mahal.
“To me, you do what you want to do. It ain’t my business. You know what I’m saying?” Kingston said. “That’s the thing I think a lot of us have forgotten, the lessons that we learned as kids like, you know, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all. Don’t be a tattletale.
“You know what I mean? Just simple things like that that we learned as kids. Growing up in New York, I was always taught to mind your own business. Don’t worry about nobody else’s stuff. Worry about your house. Clean your house first before you try to do anything with anybody else.”
