Almost six years ago, the France team added a second star to its jersey by winning the World Cup in Russia. Didier Deschamps’ band was there until the end, with a difficult journey, notably this semi-final against Belgium, narrowly won (1-0). A match which left a bitter taste for our Belgian neighbors, who have long been judged for having the “seum” of having lost.

During an interview given to France Football, Eden Hazard (33 years old), former Red Devil, believes that his country gave more emotions than France through this match. *“I find that we created more emotions by losing than France did by winning. People talk to me about this Belgium everywhere I go. It’s stronger than winning. People will say ‘he still has it’, no, that’s what I felt,” admitted the Belgian winger.
