At 33, Antoine Griezmann is slowly approaching the end of his career. While he is notably mentioned for a transfer to MLS in a few months, the Frenchman does not seem to want to move away from the French team. If he seems less important in the eleven of the Blues, the Atlético striker does not intend to retire from international football as he confided to the microphone of Telefoot.

“For me, the French team is very important, it’s a source of pride, I’ve always had this desire to play for the Blues. It was never a question of retiring after the Euro. My desire to go to the 2026 World Cup? It’s still there, I still want to play and represent France afterwards, it will be up to Didier Deschamps to choose.” That much is clear. Antoine Griezmann does not intend to say goodbye to Les Bleus for the moment.
