After a decade serving the France A team, Antoine Griezmann (33) decided it was time to say goodbye to the Blues. He therefore shared a message on social networks. Which surprised a lot of people, especially his former teammates who learned the news at the same time as everyone else. Hailed by many personalities from the world of football and sport in general, the Atlético player is turning an important page in his career. But before definitively moving on to something else, the FFF and the fans of the Blues would like to pay him a nice tribute. Except we’ll have to wait.

RMC Sport explains that this will not be possible during this October gathering since the Blues will play in Hungary against Israel before traveling to challenge Belgium. In November, Deschamps’ troops will go to Milan to face Italy. Before that, they will welcome Israel to the Stade de France. A very high risk match. It is therefore not the ideal time to celebrate this great champion that is Antoine Griezmann. We would therefore have to wait until 2025 to organize a tribute to him, as well as to Olivier Giroud.
