Last Thursday, the France team missed out on the penultimate day of the Nations League against Israel, at home (0-0). A disappointing result and poor in content, before a last match of the year against Italy, Sunday evening (8:45 p.m.). At half-time of the match, Didier Deschamps was not at all satisfied with the intensity displayed by his players and let out a rant which was captured by the cameras of TF1.
“They fight like dogs. I’m not saying we’re not there, but we can be there a little more anyway, eh. Be strong on the rods! As soon as we can, (we move) forward. We have to hurt them more than that, guys. You know, you are capable of more. There, it was a little too tiptoeing”he blurted out in the locker room at the Stade de France.
