Criticized at the start and with a series of unsuccessful loans all over Europe, Jean-Clair Todibo is now unanimous in Nice. Considered a reference to his position in Ligue 1, the 24-year-old defender is gaining momentum. It is not for nothing that his team currently has the best defense in the championship with 25 goals conceded in 33 days. Consistent and having acquired a certain maturity on the field, the Frenchman now intends to prove his value in the French team at a time when Euro 2024 is fast approaching, he who had his first selection with the Blues in September 2023.

“I don’t think it makes me dream. It’s a very clear goal, it’s something I’m aiming for. The job has to be done on the ground and prove your worth. It’s the holy grail for any high-level athlete.”he said during an interview with Téléfoot. As a reminder, the Blues coach, Didier Deschamps, will communicate his list for the next European Championship next Thursday.
