Loïc Badé called to the rescue again. For the second meeting in a row, the Seville defender will settle down at Clairefontaine to replace a missing central defender. After Wesley Fofana in September, this time he replaces Dayot Upamecano, injured with Bayern Munich this weekend against Frankfurt, like a certain Mathys Tel. “Injured on Sunday against Frankfurt, the Bayern Munich defender will not participate in the October rally. Loïc Badé is called in for reinforcement”specifies the FFF press release.

Called up, but confined to the substitutes’ bench during his first call-up, Loïc Badé could play his first minutes in Blue during this gathering. As a reminder, Didier Deschamps’ men will face Israel, in Budapest, this Thursday, then Belgium, three days later in Brussels, as part of the Nations League.
