Back in the French team squad after two years of absence, Lucas Digne (31 years old) was a starter on Monday evening against Belgium in the Nations League. A match won 2-0 by the Blues. Very happy after the match, the Aston Villa full-back was asked about his comeback with the Tricolores.

“I feel good. Afterwards, I had a bit of experience so I know the principles of the game even if the group has changed a bit. The principles haven’t changed much. It’s a group that lives well, a pleasant group. It takes a bit of time to install a new project.”he notably admitted. The former LOSC and PSG player was, however, quite surprised by the welcome reserved for certain teammates, who were whistled at Décines last night.
