La Pioche has lost his Grizou. Very friends since their first joint selections in Blue, Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann have formed a strong relationship over the years. The international retirement of the Atlético de Madrid striker saddened Pogba who will not find his friend if he returns to the tricolor jersey after his suspension. Passing through RMCthe Juve midfielder spoke about the international retirement of his longtime friend.

“Sad for all French people and football fans. My Grizou is not that old… and above all his quality. We lost an executive from the France team. He has his own reasons but we cannot take away everything he has done for the France team. I spoke to him yesterday (Tuesday, editor’s note) on the phone. I told him that he was one of the players who put the French team back on top.”said Paul Pogba. With the end of the adventure in Blue of the top scorer of Euro 2016, it is undoubtedly a page which is closing for the France team.
