Just over 48 hours before the match against Belgium in the Nations League, two players from the French team were spared by Didier Deschamps. The interim captain Aurélien Tchouameni, as well as the Blues goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, did not in fact participate in the day’s collective session.

The first still went onto the field to sign autographs with his teammates, before working in the gym with a physiotherapist. According to RMC Sportthe Madrilenian would only have received a knock, but there would be no real concerns regarding his availability for the match against the Red Devils. As for the AC Milan goalkeeper, he also made people happy by taking photos and scribbling a few autographs. He then ran alongside a member of staff.
