A defeat and a victory in two matches for the Blues. Beyond the statistics, this gathering in March did not really reassure as to the state of form of the vice-world champions. A few months before the Euro, the end of the season is felt in the legs and in the heads, and coach Didier Deschamps knows it. On the French team's X account, a video was posted showing the French coach's speech to his players. He invites his men to be careful at the end of the season, because an injury can quickly happen, like those of Camavinga and Clauss against Chile.

“We win this second match, that’s what’s positive”first put Didier Deschamps into perspective. “You have an end to the season which can be very busy, be careful. I know that you all have deadlines and goals to achieve. There will be a need at the end of May or beginning of June for all the necessary freshness physically and psychologically too. Congratulations to the whole group, even if we didn't do everything well. But at least we won this one”added DD.
