El Hijo del Vikingo is back in action.
Vikingo had been sidelined since February, as he suffered a torn meniscus and ruptured ligament on February 17. Due to the injury, he was forced to relinquish the AAA Mega Championship.
At the AAA television tapings on September 29, El Hijo del Vikingo made his return to the ring. He joined forces with Octagon Jr. and Laredo Kid to defeat Taurus, Belcegor, and Emperador Azteca.
As previously announced, Vikingo is set to compete at the GLEAT events on October 6 and 9. He is also set to face Nic Nemeth at the House of Glory event on October 18.
Prior to his injury, Vikingo also wrestled for AEW/Roh throughout 2023. He last competed for them at the ROH tapings on January 31.
