Ellen DeGeneres and Connie Boss Alexander, the mother of the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss, have paid tribute to him on his 42nd birthday.

On Sunday, September 30, Alexander took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos in celebration of her late son. Some featured him smiling at the camera, while others showed throwback photos of the pair along with one screenshot from their text message thread.
In Alexander’s caption, she referred to tWitch as a continuous blessing in her life.
“…I was trying to think of something profound to say….there is nothing more profound than saying you were and are such a blessing on this day that you made your arrival my first born, God’s gift,” she wrote. “Your day is a celebration because of just you, the light and love you are. How we miss you yet we know there is a celebration happening in the heavens…Happy 42nd Birthday darling! 🎉🎈🎉🎈💛🕊️♾️🙌🏾 We love you forever! Stephen Laurel Boss 09/29/82”

Ellen DeGeneres Pays Tribute As Social Media Joins In
A few hours later, TV host Ellen DeGeneres took to the platform to share her own tribute to tWitch. As The Shade Room previously reported, tWitch donned the roles of DJ and executive producer during his time working at her show ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
“Happy birthday tWitch. I miss you every day,” DeGeneres wrote alongside a photo of her and tWitch on set.
Additionally, in the comment section of her post, fans shared well wishes and their memories of tWitch.
Instagram user @zeusekcos wrote, “He’s irreplaceable! ❤️”
While Instagram user @liveamarreir added, “I think about Twitch on and off like I do with Robin Williams… especially when im having a hard time… the other day I was listening to music and said outloud, why twitch you had the power of movement and dance to channel the depression out when it hits? Depression makes you feel like you are in an island even if you are surrounded by love. It comes in waves 🌊 May you continue to rest in peace 🕊️🤍”
Instagram user @davidleetracy wrote, “He came into my office in NYC with his wife and daughter. We shared ice cream together with my coworkers. I got to sit right next to him. Allison Holker, The Widow Of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Recently Made Headlines
Allison Holker, tWitch’s widow, did not share a public post in celebration of her late husband’s 42nd birthday. However, earlier this week, she did take to Instagram to promote her upcoming novel, ‘THIS FAR.’ The book’s official website, notes that Holker “opens up about her incredible dance career, her relationship with Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, and the resilience that has carried her forward after his death.”
Additionally, Holker has also been opening up about her new romance. As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, the mother of three stepped out with tech CEO Adam Edmunds during New York Fashion Week.
In recent interviews, Holkers detailed her and Edmund’s relationship while sharing her children’s reactions.
