Emi Martinez hilariously celebrates save while the balls in play and then makes another stunning stop

Emi Martinez is back Emi Martinez-ing.

The Aston Villa goalkeeper was at his best in the first half away to Everton, pulling off a stunning double save just before the break.

Toffees striker Dominc Calvert-Lewin was put one-on-one with the 2022 World Cup winner, and seemingly gave him the eyes.

However, despite Martinez moving to his left, he still managed to get a crucial foot on Calvert-Lewin’s goalbound shot, reminiscent of his legendary World Cup final stop on Randal Kolo Muani.

So pleased with the save was Martinez, that he instantly jumped up and started pumping his fists while the ball was still in play.

As a show of just how expert he is at s***housing, it was only seconds after the celebration that the keeper was again called into action.

Abdoulaye Doucouré managed to get the ball over to James Garner on the edge of the box, and the midfielder instantly got a shot away, through traffic, and must have thought he’d scored.

Martinez was down in an instant though, pushing the ball round the post for his second stunning stop in a matter of seconds.
