Lille was knocked down. After leading 0-1 in Strasbourg this Saturday in Ligue 1, the Mastiffs finally lost 2-1. This defeat coupled with Monaco's victory against Rennes (3-2) caused the Northerners to fall off the podium.

However, everything started well for Lille, who quickly opened the scoring through Sahraoui (8e). But the Strasbourgers didn't give up and turned the match around in less than five minutes.

Andrey Santos equalized (70e), before Emegha gave his team the advantage (74e). The Alsatians thus put an end to Losc's series of invincibility, which remained in 14 matches without defeat in L1, and can start dreaming of Europe.
