Endrick’s plan for the terrible offensive competition looming at Real Madrid

On December 15, 2022, Real Madrid acquired young Endrick. To afford the new Palmeiras gem, Casa Blanca spent nearly €70 million, bonus included. The Merengues, however, had to wait before seeing the Brazilian arrive in Europe. The native of Brasilia will only arrive in Madrid this summer, once he turns 18 on July 21. A highly anticipated arrival since Real Madrid will therefore have two choice attackers for the next season: Endrick and Kylian Mbappé. A luxury for a club which already has the Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo and which can even afford to place Jude Bellingham at the forefront.

And for Endrick, all this competition is not a problem, far from it. “In a winning group, no player poses a threat to another. The best club in the world must always look for the best in all positions. Being alongside great players and competing for a position with them will only make me progress, reach a higher level and win more titles, because club titles are the most important goals”he recently declared in the columns of A.S..

A new update will be made in 6 months

A speech which confirms the trend mentioned by the Madrid daily this Friday. Endrick will arrive in Europe with a different status from that of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, who had not really confirmed in their country. Endrick has 21 goals and 4 assists in 81 matches with the Verdão and 2 goals scored in 4 matches with the Seleção. All this at only 17 years old. So there is no question for him of taking a trip to Real Madrid Castilla to get used to European football with the reserve. There is no question of going on loan this summer either.

A.S. assures that Endrick clearly wants to establish himself in Madrid, even with the arrival of a competitor like Mbappé. On the other hand, the situation could change during the winter of 2025. The Spanish newspaper explains that its agents have still planned to take stock just before the next winter transfer window. Clearly, if Endrick really has to settle for crumbs or if he struggles to perform at the level, a loan will likely be requested.
