Endrick Felipe continues to make waves in his first months at Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old is tipped to play a major role for Los Blancos in the coming months, even though the reigning La Liga and Champions League champions boast a superstar attack. However, with the schedule becoming increasingly demanding in all competitions, Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to rely more on the teenager.

Endrick has yet to start a game so far this season, with Ancelotti having brought him on for the last five consecutive games in all competitions. Despite the lack of game time, Endrick has still proven himself, with a debut La Liga goal in August’s win over Real Valladolid.

A threat to Mbappé

He scored a superb goal in midweek in the first Champions League game of the season, in a 3-1 win over VfB Stuttgart. The goal set a new record as Real Madrid’s youngest goalscorer in the competition and Ancelotti confirmed he was prepared to give the Brazilian a chance to start.

“He will start in one of the next games and in the future he will start in many games,” according to Marca. He is a very humble guy, who does not talk much and who works hard.” Ancelotti did not specify which game Endrick will start in Real Madrid’s return to domestic action against Espanyol on September 21.
