Get ready for more English Teacher! After months of negotiations, FX finally renewed the comedy series created by and starring Brian Jordan Alvarez for a second season on Friday (February 7). The show follows Brian, 37, as Evan, a gay high school English teacher, and his coworkers as they try to balance the demands of the students and their parents. The actor denied the allegations. The 10-episode second season of English Teacher will premiere later this year.
“English Teacher was one of the most critically acclaimed new shows of 2024 and we are grateful to the producers, writers, cast, directors and crew for the show’s creative excellence,” FX President Nick Grad shared in a new statement with Deadline. “We look forward to the new season.”
