The Evangelical Presbyterian Students Union (EPSU) has donated sanitary items to Children’s Ward, of Tema General Hospital as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

The items valued at GH₵8,000 include gallons of liquid soap, disinfectants, sanitisers, washing powder, toilet rolls, diapers, wipes and Cerelac.

Presenting the items, the National President of EPSU, Patrick Dodzi Senoo, emphasised the importance of generosity, citing the Bible’s teachings on charitable giving.

He urged others to follow this example and contribute to similar causes, highlighting the significant impact such acts of kindness could have on various institutions like health facilities and schools across the country.

Mr Senoo said the visit was made possible through the collective efforts of the EPSU national executive and members, including the Meridian Presbytery and other presbytery chairpersons who joined the initiative.

The hospital’s administrator, Naana Agyeiwaa, received on behalf of the hospital, expressing deep gratitude to the group, and assured that the items would be put to effective use to enhance services delivery
