Eric Bischoff is running a pro wrestling company again — at least for one night.
MLW announced Bischoff will have “total creative control” of its One-Shot event on December 5 in New York City.
Bischoff’s new role came as a result of Paul Walter Hauser, the Emmy-winning Actor and MLW star. Hauser was a guest on Bischoff‘s Wise Choices podcast. During the show, he called MLW’s Court Bauer and pitched having Bischoff participate in an MLW production.
“I would love to have you come do something with us, man. It’d be awesome,” Hauser said.
Bischoff laughed and said the next time Paul Walter Hauser sees Court, he could ask about it. However, Bischoff said he wouldn’t hold his breath. Hauser called Bauer on the spot and asked if he’d ever consider letting Bischoff do a one-off with MLW.
“Without hesitation, the answer is absolutely yes,” Bauer said. “I’ll tell you this, we actually have an [event] coming up called One-Shot. Yeah, dude. Eric going into enemy territory in the one place he’s never promoted a show before, New York City, calling the shots? That to me sounds like money. In fact, they say controversy creates cash, well, this creates money. Ask him if he’s down for doing something on December 5.”
