Erik Ten Hag has reportedly made one Manchester United player ‘surplus to requirements’.
That’s according to a recent report from Football Insider, who claims the Red Devils will look to sell Hannibal in a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Despite being one of the club’s most highly-rated youngsters after being signed from Monaco for almost £10 million in 2019, Hannibal, 21, has failed to make the step up to senior football.

Making just 13 appearances since his promotion to United’s first team in 2022, the 21-year-old has been forced to accept loan moves as a way to keep his career hopes alive.
His latest move saw him agree to join Sevilla from January until the end of the season.

Consequently, Ten Hag is now thought to have given up on the academy graduate and will listen to offers for him in the summer.
