Erik ten Hag claims ‘mad’ Manchester United stars focussed for Porto clash
Ten Hag has backed his players to perform in tonight’s clash with Porto.
The former Ajax manager has been speaking in his pre-match Press conference about the impact of the Spurs defeat and the mindset of his players heading into a big week.
Speaking to the media, as quoted by the Mirror, Ten Hag said: “We’re mad with ourselves, especially when you lose a game like we did on Sunday.
“Also, when you have to play for such a long time with 10 players and after the red card is overturned that gives frustration because to play for such a long time with 10 men is never of course to your advantage and had a real impact on the game, but you have to deal with it.
“So we’re mad and from the madness, we have to get motivation to go into the next game.”
