In 2024, Manchester United have won five of their six games, with the mood positive around the club on and off the pitch.

Since that Marcus Rashford controversy, the club and manager Erik ten Hag has not looked back and hit top form at the most crucial time of the season.

At one stage, a finish in the top four looked impossible with results going against United almost every week. Now that same top four place is within touching distance as United continue to close the gap on Aston Villa and Tottenham.

As Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS arrived, the team underwent a significant makeover. The British billionaire’s 25% ownership of Manchester United was agreed by the present owners, and this ownership is expected to be confirmed next week.

It has been revealed how ten Hag’s training sessions have recently changed and they are now getting the best out of the players.

The Athletic claims that the goal of Erik ten Hag and Mitchell van der Gaag’s current training sessions is to develop movements that can be repeated on the pitch.

Additionally, it is said that Ten Hag had one-on-one talks to resolve issues with players like Rasmus Højlund, who is now playing well for United—scoring in five of the team’s six games in 2024.

United’s league form has been sensational this year and they have also qualified to the next round of the FA Cup.

Players like Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Scott McTominay have made game changing contributions in recent weeks.
